Autocar Trucks – Most Toughest
Autocar trucks were started in 1899 and initially were into production of Brass Era vehicles. Today the manufacturer is into production of cabover trucks which are mainly for refuse application. Initially company manufactured cars and trucks, later they discontinued the production of cars and continued with the production of trucks. Autocar trucks were an independent truck manufacturer until 1953 when it was brought by White Motor Company. Later White Motor was sold to Volvo trucks and in 2001 Volvo sold Autocar to GVWH, Grand Vehicle Works Holding which still continues to sell trucks under Autocar brand.
