Mopar, Ram Will Sponsor TORC Series
Mopar and Ram Trucks recently struck a sponsorship deal with TORC (The Off-Road Championship) series of 2011. As of this deal, Ram will now be the official vehicle used in the Series, while the Ram Runner from Mopar will be the series' official pace truck. Apart from this, the partnership also includes an off road test drive of the Ram Truck for their fans. Five drivers of PRO-Class will drive in the Ram trucks during this series of 14 races which will get underway on the weekend of Memorial Day in Buchanan, Michigan at Red Bud MX. Mopar and Ram Truck will also share the sponsorship for the team of Traxxas Racing, which is fielded by Mark and Mike Jenkins, along with the team of Menzies Motorsports, which is owned by Steve Menzies. Chevrolet Truck El Camino Could Still Make It To American Shores
According to recent reports the El Camino Chevrolet truck is still in the running for competing in the US pickup trucks market.
